The torch bracketed to the wall flickers warmly, casting deep shadows against the stone. A small spider is scuttling across your leg beneath the blanket; there are no windows; and one door (the only door) stands very slightly ajar. If you listen… Can you hear the sound of others stirring?]

((OOC: Welcome to Part 1 of the pre-game mingle! Teams are sealed into their dorms until further notice. If you're not available to play until later, don't worry; just assume that your character hasn't been able to wake up yet. All characters are wearing their new uniform; all powers are completely locked down; nobody has the game tattoo yet.))

Teams will find:
- A small hunting knife and a spare uniform inside the wooden chests in their bedrooms.
- A small sack of oatmeal, a pitcher of milk, and a handful of jerky scraps each in the kitchen. There is not enough to feed six people comfortably for a day.

The thing is, Ling and I can still remember our time and Aather and at least I still remember the memories I got back.

I've been wondering that myself. The rest of us are at a disadvantage like this... If it were to give us someone to explain the system so the jackasses in charge wouldn't feel like they had to do it themselves, just one of you would be enough, so it can't be that simple.

Exactly. Especially if they happened to grab people older than Ling and I. Some people had a lot of memories.

Ahh, the ones who remember too much would be no good for this, I imagine. If they had enough, they'd have less reason to participate fully.

Or more reason to. Sometimes remembering enough will give you enough to suspect, but not know for sure.
