[I hope nobody on Sapphonis wanted their pillows or blankets, because they're all in the common area piled up into a truly impressive display of architecture known as a pillow fort. And Pavo builds the most impressively elaborate pillow forts you ever did see, just look at that, is it sparkling?]

[The Cepheus half of Aquarius has been busy hunting and gathering!! Between them they've managed to catch a few fish along with a lizard and a bunny. (There was an attempt at catching a goat, but all they earned from that was a black eye for Claude.) Yayoi's also loaded the gathering basket up with enough potatoes, carrots, and onions to last for a few meals.]

Ugh, I never really appreciated how hard hunting was before now . . .

[Last night, should you be one of those lucky enough to remember it, was an ordinary night. You went to sleep, and perhaps you dreamed of something pleasant! Or perhaps you dreamed of something foul. Either way, when you wake up this morning…

The torch bracketed to the wall flickers warmly, casting deep shadows against the stone. A small spider is scuttling across your leg beneath the blanket; there are no windows; and one door (the only door) stands very slightly ajar. If you listen… Can you hear the sound of others stirring?]

((OOC: Welcome to Part 1 of the pre-game mingle! Teams are sealed into their dorms until further notice. If you're not available to play until later, don't worry; just assume that your character hasn't been able to wake up yet. All characters are wearing their new uniform; all powers are completely locked down; nobody has the game tattoo yet.))

Teams will find:
- A small hunting knife and a spare uniform inside the wooden chests in their bedrooms.
- A small sack of oatmeal, a pitcher of milk, and a handful of jerky scraps each in the kitchen. There is not enough to feed six people comfortably for a day.
