It depends on who's running it, generally. There are some powers that run harmless games and some powers that run only harmful ones, and a range of them in between.

Pay attention, listen to the rules carefully. Sometimes you can push the rules, and sometimes it's not safe to. Games can get dangerous for you, and the people playing. Sometimes... people die. And that is something you can't always stop. Most of the time they'll come back to life at the end of the game.

Try to play the way that makes the most sense to you. But I don't recommend revenge. It can harm a lot of people at once.
