I usually name people after people I knew at home. Like Tiffany, or Esther.

At least you are remembering people from home. Though I would not care to be named after someone else, I think.

I named my teamates after things in space, too. It was kind of like a theme.

[touching the area on his chest, unconsciously, then frowns]

Chaz? Pretty much, it's a nickname my mom gave me.

So you always had it in memory.

Yeah. But it took about six memories to come back. It might take awhile.

What were you called until then...?

Uhura. The last name of someone one of my teamates knew.

...That is not like any name I've ever heard...

I imagine not. It's Swahili, from uhuru, meaning freedom.
